Looks like Malon (or Cremia if you prefer her - they're basically the same anyway^^) got snatched by one of those nasty spiders...will the Hero of Time come to her rescue?

I tried some new stuff with the webbing this time, obviously inspired by *RiyoStraint. It still requires some tweaking, but I think I'm getting somewhere.

Not bad at all. This is actually quite nice.

I'm especially impressed with the very subtle gradient in the shadows. You're getting a sense of atmosphere and depth that otherwise wouldn't be captured in a flat tone. You are definitely picking up some good sensibilities in tone, even if it is applied in a simplified way (cell shading vs full lighting logic).

I have two nitpicks. First, I think you should have drawn the ears with colored lines instead of black (like you did with the hair), perhaps with a darker skin tone color. Because of the stark change in line color, the ear sort of pops out in a way that the eye gets drawn to it. The second one is that the web strands that are holding her up are getting a little bit Eschery--as in the perspective doesn't quite make hold up.

Otherwise I really like this. You have my seal of approval :)

Thanks for the feedback! :)

The gradient was a last minute addition, and it really changes everything despite being rather subtle. As for the colored lines, I only started using those recently, so it'll take a bit of experimenting to get something really satisfying out of it.

Yeah, I just now noticed I forgot to erase a line in the strands holding her...^^;
Doing that and tweaking the shading of those a bit might save them.

Oh, cool. Its too bad that the skulltulas can't wrap up NPCs in any of the Legend Of Zelda games.

Yeah...seeing how there's skulltulas in so many games, as well as the occasional spider boss, having a side quest to save a damsel from a spider wouldn't be so far fetched. C'mon Shigeru, give us a wrapped up girl to save...or watch for a while. :P

Man, why do these sort of scenes so rarely happen. Truly unfortunate :(. Least we have cool kids like you to make up for it!

A nice addition to the gameplay if this did happen and of course I would chose to cut her down but leave her all wrapped as a reward :P ;)
