Someone tore off the blindfold. Saya blinked a few times before she could spot shapes in the brightly lit room she was sitting in.

They've been driving a long way. After that someone had carried her into this room and tied her to a cold aluminum chair.

So there she was: Not knowing where she was, who she was dealing with or what they would do to her. She was the prisoner of a mysterious organization. And what was even worse: They had her sister, and Saya had no clue where they were holding her.

"Very well, princess…" A man behind her started talking, "Now where we have the time, let's have a little chat…"

He stepped around her, sitting down on a chair at the other end of a big steel table. Calmly he lit a cigarette.

"You know, I have some questions…" he continued talking, snapping his fingers.

Someone still standing behind Saya ripped the tape off her face and pulled the cloth gag out of her mouth.

"Where is my sister?" she immediately coughed out, "Bring her he – rrmph!" Before she could even finish the sentence the man behind her quickly handgagged her.

Her interrogator puffed out a cloud of smoke. "I said I have some questions. You'll just give me answers…"

Saya growled but nodded the best she could, still having a hand clamped over her mouth.

"Good girl" The man in front of her acknowledged. "So, I take the girl who followed you was your sister then?"

Noticing how the thug behind her had no intentions of removing his hand Saya simply nodded again.

"Why did you bring her with you? We demanded you to come alone. Is it that hard for you to simply follow orders?"

Finally the hand let go of the girl's face. "I tried to stop her, I didn't want her to come with me either! But she was so persistent, even if I'd have come alone, she would've followed me!" I – "

After a nod from the man behind the desk, Saya was swiftly handgagged again. He had heard enough.

He was about to ask another question as black-haired woman walked into the room and whispered something into his ear before leaving again. Somehow she reminded Saya of the woman she had seen in the video.

The man put out his cigarette. "I just got word from the colleagues who interviewed your sister. Your stories match. And much like you, she sounded rather convincing."

He gave a sign for Saya to be untied.

"I want to see her!" She demanded grimly, still rubbing her wrists. Those ropes have been tight!

Soon enough Kiyomi was brought into the room, still bound and gagged as she had been under that bridge. She was crying, still scared, but relieved to see her sister again, unharmed.

Saya looked at the man at the table, who was apparently the head of this organization. Before she could say anything he started talking:

"Security protocols demand we have her restricted, sorry."

"Then 'restrict' me too, I won't let her go through this alone!" Saya demanded, much to the confusion of everyone present. But just minutes later both girls were securely tied to chairs, the only difference being that Kiyomi, unlike Saya was kept gagged.

This time it was Saya's turn to ask questions:

"First of all, who are you people?"

The man in front of the girls, now alone in one room with them, lit up another cigarette.

"Mossad." Was his short answer. It took Saya a few seconds to say anything – he had really caught her by surprise.

"Mossad? As in Israel's secret service?"

The agent in front of them just nodded.

Saya still couldn't believe it. The Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, involved in an operation in the USA, needing the help of her, an immigrated Japanese girl…

"But…I don't understand. What does all that have to do with me? Why would you people need the help of a freelance Shinobi?" she stuttered.

The agent just inhaled another breath of smoke. "Well, let me explain it in detail…" he began.

"I'm sure you've watched the video file we've sent you."

Saya just nodded quietly.

"That footage was secretly recorded by one of our agents, who, as you might expect, is currently missing."

Now he leaned forward. "What follows now is classified information. Nothing of it may leave this room!"

The girls nodded again. Then he continued talking.

"It had been her mission to infiltrate a certain Yakuza clan: The Red Dragon family, a.k.a. The Akaryuu Clan.

"But why would that clan be interesting for Israel's national security?" Saya asked.

"To understand that one must understand what they do." The mossad agent answered, pointing his cigarette at the girls.

"They've specialized in two illegal business branches: Selling weapons…and human trafficking."

Saya's heart started to beat faster at the mention of those last two words.

"They keep selling guns, bought here in the USA, to extremist groups that pose a threat to our nation. So we followed even the faintest clues we could get about them. That's what led us here to the United States.

After further investigations we found out about them being involved in the trading of slaves, usually young women, who they either lure in by promising them jobs or, in rare cases, even going as far as kidnapping them from their homes.

To find out more about those acts of slavery we got one of our best female agents into one of their organized mass abductions, disguised as a photo shoot.

They wanted women to come to a meeting place, wearing any fetishwear, costumes or lingerie if they owned any. So we wired our agent up with a hidden camera and GPS transmitter and sent her there. The video you've seen is the last sign we received from her."

Saya was about to ask something, but already got the answer before she opened her mouth:

"And now that we definitely know they're slavers, we are certain that this clan was behind the kidnapping of your mother."

Saya just stared at him.

"Oh, we know more about you than you think, Saya Masamune. And it's not impossible your enemies do, too."

"But still, why would you need my help?" she asked, trying to hide how nervous she was about all this.

"We have evidence that this organization is guilty of multiple cases of false imprisonment and kidnapping, but we have no face to associate those crimes with. Also, we can't prove that they are in fact involved in human trafficking unless we get to know their victims' whereabouts. We can't risk getting another one of our agents in there. They might already know we're after them."

The man stood up and tossed his cigarette butt into the ashtray.

"And that's where you come in. You can infiltrate the organization and find out who their head is. Once he's found out we can hand him over to Interpol. And…If we're lucky, we might find out where they are hiding your mother."

He looked at Saya, standing at the other end of the desk, with his hands in his pocket, awaiting an answer.

"So…" the Shinobi finally began to speak, "You guys want me to act as bait and let myself get kidnapped? That's never gonna work, they'll be much more careful, now that they've found out about your agent."

"Both right and wrong." The Mossad agent commented, "They will indeed be much more careful about wired up 'goods'. That's why you're not going in there undercover. We need you for your stealth skills. We've found out the address of their headquarters. It's a building disguised as an employment bureau. Of course we could send in one of our own agents, but chances that the higher-ups might be alarmed are too high. We need to send in someone unsuspicious – like you."

Saya sat in her chair and thought about everything she had to consider. It was a dangerous mission. But then again, many of her missions were dangerous. She was up against an internationally operating Yakuza family. But she had the secret intelligence agency of Israel on her side. She might get captured and sold into slavery. But one single thought caused her decision:

She might see her mother again.

"Fine, count me in." she finally said. Saya was actually a bit surprised by herself. She had expected her voice to be shaking, or at least hesitating. But she was bursting of confidence instead.

"Under one condition:" she added, "I'll need my sister's help! Wherever I go, she goes!"

The agent smiled. "So be it."

So Saya and Kiyomi have actually been captured by the good guys! And now they know who they'll have to fight in order to find their mother...

Just to let you know, there's no specific reason they're with the Mossad, it could be any country's secret intelligence agency, I just didn't want the FBI, CIA or any japanese organization. I wanted this whole thing to be of global scale, so I needed something foreign.

It probably ended up being the Mossad because I watched too much Navy CIS. :P
